A clear starting point, even when the project is not fully defined.

Every project is different, but the early planning process should be easy for council to follow.

We turn early ideas, known priorities, and unresolved questions into a clear path forward.

By organizing the project’s objectives, scope, constraints, responsibilities, and next decisions, we give council the information needed to understand what is being proposed, what still needs to be determined, and how the project can move ahead responsibly.
1. Initial conversation

We discuss the concern or idea, the building, the information already available and the decision council is trying to make.

3. Preliminary project plan

We develop the agreed planning information. This may include a preliminary scope, concept options, budget ranges, priorities, phasing and recommended next steps.

2. Information review

We review relevant reports, drawings, photos, maintenance history and other available project information. We identify gaps and questions that may require follow-up.

4. Professional project brief

Where specialized professionals are required, we help organize a clear brief describing the project, the available information and the services the strata wants them to provide.
